FAQs

What is a worker cooperative?

In worker cooperatives, workers are their own bosses. Co-ops are owned and controlled by workers, and worker and community benefit are at the core of their purpose. You can learn more about worker-owned businesses from the ICA here.

Why should I choose CareShare OC to care for my child?

You can trust you’re partnering with a worker-owned, women-owned local business that provides fair pay, liability insurance, and benefits like dental insurance, vision insurance, and sick time off. Nannies are trained in non-violent parenting/communication, CPR certified, and Spanish-speaking, allowing Spanish immersion for your child(ren).

I’m interested and I want to receive more information. What’s my next step?
